The 1961 Fairland Dragons were call the "Untouchables". The Untouchables finished the regular season with a perfect record. This team would go on to win the sectional, district, and regional crown thus advancing to the state semi-final held at St. Johns arena on the campus, of The Ohio State University. Fairland would lose to Ayersville in the state semi-finals.
